Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $13.06 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.

Work Setting: Cross-docking facility

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Industrial lift trucks and forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Sort goods, Stack goods, Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products, Maintain and organize inventory

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Work Site Environment: Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Computer use
