Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Type of Travel: Provincial/territorial, International

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Trip reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Use atlases and other trip planning aids

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication
