Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and nights. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Work Setting: Pharmaceutical processing plants

Specific Skills: Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards, Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment, Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products

Additional Skills: Record production data

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Site Environment: Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Working with others, Critical thinking

Other Information: Machince Experience is required. A Life Science degree (Biology, Chemistry or BioChemistry) is an asset.
