Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $22.89 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: is an asset.

Target Groups or Clients: Male, Female, Children, Adolescents, Seniors, Families, Culturally diverse groups

Type of Community or Social Service: Settlement services for new immigrants

Specific Skills: Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, Appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services, Conduct follow-up assessments, Develop, coordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community, Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients, Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research, Screen, recruit and train volunteers and support staff

Additional Skills: Administrative and office activities, Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers, Research techniques

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
