Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Certification as Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist (ROHT).

Area of Scientific Specialization: Industrial hygiene, Occupational hygiene

Specific Skills: Study, evaluate and control physical, chemical, biological and ergonomics hazards and stresses in the workplace, Provide consulting services to government and other organizations, Gather and analyze samples of dust, gases, mists and vapours, Use direct reading meters to measure levels of light, heat, noise and radiation, Evaluate the effectiveness of control equipment which may affect employee health, Report and document investigations and conclusions/recommendations, Teach safe work procedures

Additional Skills: Use computer applications

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Work Location Information: Work from home
