Type of Machine Experience: Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines: Automatic lathes, CNC machines, Form cutting machines

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Repair machine tools and parts, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines

Essential Skills: Reading text, Working with others, Problem solving, Computer use

Other Information: Experience in cutting tool manufacturing / repair, TIG welding & programming with Mastercam software required.
