Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $15.00 to $16.50 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS (workplace hazardous material information system).

Work Setting: Industrial plant

Supervisory Experience: Specialized cleaners

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, Assist cleaners in performing duties

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Shift work

Work Site Environment: Wet/damp, Noisy, Dusty

Ability to Supervise: 11-15 people
