Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $40,000.00 to $47,000.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Not-for-profit organization

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, General office equipment, Excel, Accounting software, Adagio, Human Resource software, Internet browser

Typing (Words Per Minute): 0 - 40 wpm

Type of Bookkeeping: Computerized

Specific Skills: Prepare general ledger, Prepare journal entry, Manage accounts receivable, Manage accounts payable, Prepare financial statements, Prepare payroll, Invoice clients, Prepare reports, Store, update and retrieve financial data, Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Rural community

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Computer use

Other Information: Data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly invoicing, payroll and EFTs. Development of financial reports. Provide general IT support and basic trouble shooting and system back-ups.
