Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.

Children’s Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Care for pets, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided, Rural community

Other Information: $369.42 will be deducted/monthly, 10 days vacation / year, willing to work on a shift work,must be sportsminded, both indoor & outdoor activities,willing to accompany the child on sports activities.
