Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Children’s Ages: Infant (3 months - 11 months), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
