Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Red Cross Swimming Instructor/Life Saving Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifesaving Bronze Medallion, Lifesaving Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate.

Type of Clients: All ages

Work Setting: Private club, Swimming pool/centre

Additional Skills: Provide emergency or first aid assistance, Ensure safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes, Assist with special events, Prepare reports

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Urban area

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, In/on water, At heights, Noisy
