Terms: This is a casual, part time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure by the appropriate province or territory of work, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, First Aid Certificate.

Work Setting: Community health clinic or centre, Physician’s office

Area of Specialization: Drug addiction, Public and community health

Registered Nursing Assistant Specific Skills: Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Distribute medication to patients

Additional Skills: Monitor patients’ progress and report any changes

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Drug test

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
