Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $13.50 per hour for a 55 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS Certificate.

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Assist in drilling and blasting rock, Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, Level earth to fine grade specifications, Assist in demolishing buildings, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication, Problem solving
