Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $28.00 to $35.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Construction Electrician Trade Certification, Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate, WHMIS, Driver’s License.

Human Resources Responsibility: 1 - 5

Workers Supervised: Electricians, Apprentices

Major Work Area: Construction, Installation, Maintenance, Repair

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Residential, Public sector, Independently owned business

Specific Skills: Supervise workers and projects, Coordinate and schedule activities, Train or arrange for training, Ensure adherence to safety standards

Additional Skills: Oversee apprenticeship training

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Hard hat

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours

Work Site Environment: Outdoors
