Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $21.00 to $24.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), Forklift Operator Certification.

Specific Skills: Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products, Prepare and Change moulds and adjust equipment for production line change, Write technical and inspection reports

Additional Skills: Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment, Supervisory Experience, Maintain records and inventory, Knowledge of various plastic resins

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Fast-paced environment

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information

Other Information: Candidates will be responsible for mold set up, troubleshooting molding processes, experienced in forklift operation & overhead crane, have basic knowledge of resins, and superior communication skills
