Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be 50 hours per week per hour for a 50 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Work Setting: Landscape contractor, Private home, Landscape maintenance

Type of Machinery or Equipment: Sod cutter, Weed trimmer/edger, Pick-up truck

Specific Skills: Assist with landscape constructions, Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, Rake/ collect refuse, Remove litter and garbage, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Lay sod or seed, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, Apply fertilizers, Construct walkways and driveways

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Noisy, Dusty, Hot

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Urban area
