Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Steel Fabrication (Fitter) Red Seal Certificate, Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.

Workers Supervised: Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters, Welders, Apprentices, Labourers

Major Work Area: Assembly, Fabrication, Repair, Service

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial

Specific Skills: Supervise workers and projects, Co-ordinate and schedule activities, Ensure adherence to safety standards

Additional Skills: Prepare production and other reports, Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions, Estimate material and labour costs

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
