Salary: will be $27.74 to $38.30 per hour for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Credentials required: The applicant should have CRCS - Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification.

Area of Specialization: Adult echocardiography, Pediatric echocardiography

Specific Skills: Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images, Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images, Record and store suitable images by using camera unit connected to the ultrasound equipment, Observe and care for patients throughout examinations, Prepare examination reports for physicians, Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation

Additional Skills: Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, Supervise and train students or other medical sonographers
