Terms: This is a temporary, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS Certificate.

Type of Construction: Roads and bridges

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Jackhammers, Drills

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Mix, pour and spread materials, Pave and rake asphalt, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
