Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification, WHMIS Certificate.

Specific Skills: Read specifications or follow verbal instructions, Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines, Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products, Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs, Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist, Document work completed, Clean and lubricate equipment

Security and Safety: Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Ear plugs
