Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Notes: bonus, commission, milage paid, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Type of Sales: Engineering, Chemistry

Type of Sales Account: Local accounts, Regional accounts, Key accounts

Customers/clients: Industry

Products/Services: Industrial machinery and equipment, Mining machinery/equipment, Chemicals and chemical products, Pulp and paper, Manufacturing and industrial products

Specific Skills: Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients, Assess client’s needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, Deliver sales presentations, Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service, Prepare and administer sales contracts, Utilize sales/marketing software packages, Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, Train customers’ staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment, Resolve product and service related problems, Read and understand blueprints, Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment, Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer
