Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class D or 3), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Travel Experience: Local, Regional

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Collect or make payments for goods, Load and unload goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use maps and other trip planning aids, Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle, Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Prepare, package and restock goods

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Cellular phone

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
