Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $24.30 per hour for a 42 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification, Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D).

Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications

Truck Mechanic Specific Skills: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems

Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor, Customer service skills

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Critical thinking, Computer use, Continuous learning
