Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and nights.

Salary: will be $10.25 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Children’s Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided
