Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and nights. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $27.72 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification.

Tool and Die Fabrication Experience: Jigs and fixtures, Metal cutting, forming or bending dies, Compound or progressive transfer dies, Forging dies

Specific Skills: Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures, Verify dimensions of machine parts, Machine, fit and assemble parts, Inspect and test final products, Set up machine tools

Additional Skills: Read blueprint, schemas and drawings

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
