Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Supervisory Experience: Payroll clerks

Specific Skills: Co-ordinate, assign and review work, Train workers in duties and policies, Prepare and submit reports, Ensure smooth operation of equipment, Ensure accuracy of financial transactions

Additional Skills: Know and use computer hardware and software

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less

Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information: Knowledge of Fed. & Prov. payroll legislation, ESA, union & non-union environment experience; acctg. knowledge in account recs., ADP experience. 7-10 yrs. exp. necessary; management exp. a must.
