Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Notes: milage paid.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).

Type of Equipment Repair: Diesel or diesel-electric mining machinery and equipment, Tractors

Mechanical Repair Specialization: Off-road vehicle tires and wheels

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, Service attachments and working tools, Verify and repair emission control systems

Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices, Order parts and maintain inventory, Keep maintenance reports and documentation

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Basic security clearance

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles
