Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be nsurance Benefits per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Machinist Trade Certification.

Work Setting: Agricultural equipment, General manufacturing

Machining Tools and Machines: CNC machines

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Set up and adjust production machinery, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking
