Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Machinist Trade Certification.

Work Setting: General manufacturing

Type of Machine Experience: Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines: Boring machines, CNC machines, Engine lathes, Milling machines

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Set up and adjust production machinery

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking
