Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $32,640.00 per year for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.

Work Setting: Community or neighbourhood centre

Target Groups or Clients: Aboriginal groups

Type of Community or Social Service: Volunteer coordination

Specific Skills: Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, Develop, coordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community, Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients, Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research, Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs

Additional Skills: Administrative and office activities

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use
