Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $40,000.00 Y per year for a 45 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed university.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Level 1 Certificate in Coaching.

Sports Concentration: Gymnastics, Karate, Weightlifting

Work Setting: Community-based, Regional sports club, Local sports club, High school institution

Specific Skills: Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions, Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs, Participate in coaching clinic instruction, Analyze and evaluate athletes’ or team’s performance, Observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and performance, Present materials at conference or symposium

Additional Skills: Carry out management or administrative duties

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity licence check, Child abuse registry check, Drug test, Eligible for professional liability insurance

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Air conditioned, Non-smoking, Outdoors

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Willing to travel overnight, Travel expenses paid by employer

Work Location Information: Various locations
