Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T).

Type of Equipment Repair: Heavy trucks, Heavy construction equipment, Forklifts

Diesel Engine Repair Specialization: Cooling systems, Lubrication systems

Mechanical Repair Specialization: Hydraulic transmissions, Vehicle brake systems

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Essential Skills: Working with others, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing

Languages: Other than English, the applicant should speak French, read French, write French.
