Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be $50,000.00 to $56,000.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, Mapping and data visualization software (GIS), Internet browser

Work Setting: Emergency Services

Type of service experience: Towing, Trucking

Dispatcher Specific Skills: Receive requests for emergency assistance or service, Process and transmit information and instructions, Act as liaison between customers and drivers, Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations

Additional Skills: Perform general office duties, Monitor personnel workloads and locations

Security and Safety: Bondable

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Ability to Supervise: 4 people or less

Other Information: Three years in ERS call centre or ERS Operations. Two years in Metro Service Fleet position or equivalent dispatch exp. Excellent map reading. Excellent communication. Knowledge of GTA/Ont./Maritimes
