Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Red Cross Swimming Instructor/Life Saving Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate.

Recreational Concentration: Aquatics

Type of Clients: All ages, Children, Adults

Work Setting: Camp, Swimming pool/centre

Activity Focus: Patrolling/supervising activities

Specific Skills: Plan and carry out recreational activities, Enforce safety rules and regulations

Additional Skills: Provide emergency or first aid assistance, Ensure safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes, Assist with special events
