Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone

Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Room and board provided

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others

Other Information: Seeking AZ drivers wanting renewable seasonal employment. Driving dump-truck, or 5-Ton flatbed, with 20 ton float. Driver’s are expected to load & unload heavy equipment and provide added labour.
