Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings, nights, and weekends.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate, Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 1 or A, Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B, Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 3 or C.

Major Work Area: Maintenance, Service, Repair, Commercial, Residential

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems: Heat pump, Filtration, Air motioning and circulation, Built up (split system), Humidification and de-humidification systems, Ventilation

Specific Skills: Commission systems and test for leaks using testing devices, Perform routine maintenance and servicing, Interpret gas codes, Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, Handle, recover and store refrigerants

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: On-site customer service

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Problem solving
