Credentials required: The applicant should have Dog groomer course.

Work Setting: Kennel

Type of Pets Groomed: All breeds of dogs, Cats

Pet Grooming Experience: Bathing/shampooing, Anal glands treatment, Clipping and styling, Ear cleaning, Flea baths, Nail clipping, Show clipping, Teeth cleaning

Animal Care Experience: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)

Specific Animal Care Skills: Prepare food and feed animals, Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Additional Skills: Maintain inventory and order supplies

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Physically demanding

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Must have own hand tools and equipment. Pet Washing Tub supplied.
