Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $24.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.

Work Experience: Design, Project planning, Purchasing, procurement and contracts, Education or training

Type of Mine Experience: Surface mines or quarries

Work Setting: Mining company

Specific Skills: Design shafts, ventilation and haulage systems, Plan and design or select mining equipment and machinery, and mineral treatment machinery and equipment

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available
