Terms: This is a temporary, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $11.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Towmotors, Reach trucks

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pack and unpack goods, Transport and distribute materials and goods, Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products

Additional Skills: Customer service skills

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Dusty, Hot

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle
