Terms: This is a temporary, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $10.00 per hour for a 20 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS Certificate.

Work Setting: Dairy

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines or mobile tank trucks, Remove filled containers from conveyors, Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties

Additional Skills: Food safety/handling skills

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Odours, Cold/refrigerated

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Significant use of memory
