Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Area of Survey Specialization: Subdivisions, Construction

Field Skills Experience: Traditional survey equipment, Total station operation

Specific Skills: Develop survey plans, methods and procedures for conducting legal surveys, Plan, direct and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties, Prepare or supervise the preparation and compilation of all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries, Certify and assume liability for surveys made to establish real property boundaries

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Tools

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Walking

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Work Location Information: Urban area, Rural area, Various locations

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Computer use

Other Information: Layout and set grades for various construction sites. Valid G class driver’s licence required.Work is 50 hours per week.
