Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $12.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 44 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have 3rd Period Apprentice, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, WHMIS Certificate.

Specific Skills: Determine specifications and calculate requirements, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join mouldings, wood materials, drywall and plastics materials, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Build walls and install partitions, Install drywall, Install insulation, Build porches and verandas, Build decks and fences, Build and install platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders, Operate power tools

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Estimate labour and material costs

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat

Work Site Environment: At heights, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence
