Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $12.00 to $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS Certificate.

Type of Construction: Industrial, commercial and institutional

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Mix, pour and spread materials, Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding

Work Location Information: Various locations

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication

Other Information: Manual labor, yard and building work. Flooring, drywall, minor plumbing, rebuilding fences, asphalt and concrete.
