Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be 20 hours per week per hour for a 20 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Specific Skills: Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced, Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions, Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts

Work Setting: Government, Help desk

Computer and Technology Knowledge: Windows, Hardware, Networking hardware, Word processing software, Office Suites, Mail server software, Electronic mailing software

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Security and Safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available
