Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Work Setting: Public sector

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler, MS Word, Lotus 123, Excel, MS PowerPoint

Typing (Words Per Minute): 0 - 40 wpm

Specific Skills: Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries, Maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases, Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents, Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, Send and receive messages, Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, Prepare and format page presentation, Compile data, statistics and other information, Provide general information to clients and the public, Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing

Security and Safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance

Work Location Information: Urban area

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Working with others, Computer use

Other Information: Minimum of 1 year experience in providing administrative support in the office of a senior manager (e.g. Director, Director), Excel, Outlook, MS-Word, and PowerPoint.

Languages: Other than English, the applicant should speak French, read French, write French.
