Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Area of Specialization: Machinery and components, Aerospace, Moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures

Work Setting: Manufacturing company

Specific Skills: Operate computer-assisted design system, Read blueprints, Prepare engineering design, drawings and specifications, Conduct quality assurance review, Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction, Participate in machinery installation, repair and maintenance

Additional Skills/Knowledge/Expertise: Prepare standards and schedules, Supervise maintenance programs

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less

Security and Safety: Secret clearance

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making

Other Information: Familiar with thin gauge metal forming. Skilled at grinding deburring, and preparation of various components. Skilled at drilling, riveting, and assembly. Health & Safety policies and procedures.
