Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $24.00 per hour for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Certified interior designer.

Area of Specialization: Interior design (general), Facilities management, Furniture design

Work Setting: Government

Specific Skills: Estimate cost of projects and prepare detailed specifications, Know products, materials and installation techniques, Know standards and codes currently in force, Know computer-aided drafting (CAD), Create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes

Security and Safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance

Other Information: Must have experience working with the new government fit-up standards, knowledge of various systems furniture and latest design trends related of office planning, experience in working with SAP/SIGMA

Languages: Other than English, the applicant should speak French, read French, write French.
