Terms: This is a temporary, part time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Work Setting: Retail and wholesale distribution centre

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Reach trucks

Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Stack goods, Maintain and organize inventory

Additional Skills: Build pallets, Customer service skills

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others
