Education: The applicant should have completed university.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) Accreditation, Certified General Accountants (CGA) Association Accreditation, Society of Management Accountants (CMA) Accreditation, Institute of Internal Auditors Accreditation, Bankruptcy Trustee Licence, Provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) membership, Society of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) membership, Certified General Accountants Association (CGA) membership, Provincial or territorial licence.

Financial Auditor Specific Skills: Examine financial records and transactions, Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control, Prepare reports and audit findings, Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices, Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements, Conduct audits for forensic/criminal investigations

Accountant Specific Skills: Plan, set up and administer accounting systems, Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies, Examine accounting records, Prepare financial statements and reports, Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure, Prepare income tax returns from accounting records, Analyze financial documents and reports, Provide financial, business and tax advice, Act as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings

Ability to Supervise: Working groups
