Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $15.00 to $22.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Work Setting: General manufacturing

Type of Machine Experience: Conventional, Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Air conditioned

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available
